Strong Young Minds of Atlanta (SYMOA) is a community‑centered economic empowerment organization built on the belief that mind and spirit have no age limit. We thrive as a diverse, multi‑generational ecosystem — welcoming all age groups, from youth to active seniors: embracing every ethnicity. Our dynamic model integrates entrepreneurship, financial literacy, communication & leadership skills, and the arts. SYMOA creates exciting opportunities for communities to learn new skills, earn meaningful income, and build the self‑confidence that fuels long‑term success.
Participants receive SYMOA‑branded products and apparel, step‑by‑step training, mentorship, and coaching, all of which prepare them for entrepreneurship, income generation, life skills, and independent living.
Jr. Bosses introduces grade‑school students to essential money skills and financial literacy concepts: budgeting, banking, saving, investing, credit basics, and early career exploration. These workshops introduce students to making smart economic choices that build strong financial futures.
Learn real ASL communication skills through interactive lessons in vocabulary, visual grammar, and exposure to non‑verbal culture. Participants also explore how ASL can create income opportunities in interpreting, event staffing, youth program support, and accessibility services.
Instruction is offered in piano/keyboard, electric guitar, bass guitar, and percussion, giving students hands‑on access to core instruments even if they don’t have their own. Skilled musicians of any age can earn income as SYMOA instructors, making this a program that encourages students to nurture their skills and potentially become instructors themselves.
